Alpaca Haze is the fourth yarn to join the MODE at Rowan stable, and is one of our favourites! Alpaca Haze is a blend of super soft alpaca and wool ideal for creating delicate but warm knits. Knitters of all skill levels will appreciate the ease with which this yarn glides through their fingers.
Die hard Rowan fans may have spotted that Alpaca Haze is a very similar gauge and tension to Rowan Kidsilk Haze. This is true, and the yarns are interchangeable, with Alpaca Haze offering a flatter, more opaque finish. It can be knitted single, double, or with another fibre/yarn. In a range of beautiful shades, and with a soft haze, this affordable natural fibre yarn will bring a touch of luxury to all your crafting creations. Classified as Fashion weight, this yarn may also be suitable to be used as a 4-ply or DK weight, depending on the desired fabric.
